Hugo-Häring Award 2023/24 for Haus am Park in Tuebingen

The joint residential building project Haus am Park, Tübingen, planned by the SOMAA offices in cooperation with Yonder together with the sociologist Gerd Kuhn, was awarded the Hugo Häring Prize of the Association of German Architects (BDA).

The jury appreciates the conceptual and structurally exemplary realization in terms of promoting social cohesion and integration as well as the flexibility and sustainability of the solid basic structure. The formal reduction and clear typology of the design enriched the place on an appropriate scale.

The Hugo Häring Prize is an architecture prize for exemplary buildings in Baden-Württemberg. Since 1969, the Baden-Württemberg State Association of the Association of German Architects (BDA) has been awarding the prize, named after the architect Hugo Häring, to builders and architects for their joint work.
